The IQAir PF40 Coarse Dust Pre-Filter Kit consists of an upper grill which screws into the air purifier's base. A synthetic coarse dust filter pad is held in place by a lower grill that is secured by four clips. The 1/2 inch deep non-woven design of the PF40 filter pad ensures superior coarse dust holding capacity. The filter pad may be washed several times before it needs to be replaced.

The IQAir® HealthPro Air Purifier HEPA Pre-Filter Element is designed to increase the efficiency and long-life of the HyperHEPA Filter by reducing large particulate accumulation. IQAir® systems typically retain over 90% of particle mass in the pre-filter. As a result, IQAir's HyperHEPA and V5 Gas Phase Filters are better protected from premature loading.
