Most air purifiers can only filter down to 0.3 microns in size – But 90% of all particles in the air are smaller than 0.3 microns! IQAir’s patented HyperHEPA filtration filters down to 0.003 microns with a guaranteed minimum efficiency of 99%. This means that HyperHEPA can remove up to 100 times more allergens than conventional air cleaners.

Larger HyperHEPA filter
The Cleanroom offers a larger HyperHEPA filter (ca. 4.1 m2, instead of 3.7 m2). Also the unit has a larger pre-filter (ca. 4.1 m2, instead of 2.3 m2), therefore more capacity and longer life. This feature is particularly useful when the systems are in 24-hour non-stop use.

Higher air flow rate
The airflow rate is higher since there is no gas filtration in this device. A gas filter would reduce the air flow rate and add to filter replacement costs and it does not provide any infection control benefits. High air delivery rates are also important to achieve high air changes per hour (ACH) and when the system is used to create negative/positive pressure differences (e.g. for isolation purposes).

One of the world's most efficient HEPA air cleaners in its class. Incorporates H12/13 class certified HEPA filter, normally used in multi-million dollar cleanrooms. This certification under the world's most stringent HEPA filter test, European Norm EN 1822, is the basis for this air cleaners' ability to capture up to 100 times more particles than conventional HEPA cleaners.
