How Does CuisineClean™ Work?
Vesture Corporation's CuisineClean™ utilizes Activated Oxygen, commonly called ozone, or 03, to naturally oxidize bacteria & fungi on food surfaces. If you've ever noticed the clean, fresh & pure smell in the air after a thunder storm, you've been acquainted with the natural anti-microbial effect of ozone. Bacteria such as salmonella, E-coli, listeria giardia & cryptosporidium are killed on contact. The ozonation process that takes place inside a CuisineClean™ unit is more effective & up to 3,000 times faster than purification by chlorine & will not harm the environment.
How Effective is CuisineClean™?
In independent efficacy testing, the CuisineClean™ demonstrated the capability to achieve up to a 99.9% kill rate on various fruits and vegetables.
Simple CuisineClean Instructions:
1. Remove CuisineClean from it's package and plug it in.
2. Make sure the drain hose is secure on the back of the unit to prevent from draining.
3. Place fruits, vegetables, or anything you wish to clean into CuisineClean.
4. Fill CuisineClean up with cold water. DO NOT fill up to the Max Fill Line. Fill approximately 1-2 inches below the Max Fill Line. 5. Close the lid and secure the side latches after the front latch is secure.
6. Turn the knob starting CuisineClean from 1-15 minutes (times will vary based on types of fruits and vegetables). After cycle is finished you may detach the drain hose from the back of the unit to allow water to drain and you can turn the knob on again to spin excess water off of food.
The basket may be removed to clean excess dirt off and the machine itself should be wiped clean.
